When the Associated Press staff moved into the building of the Star Tribune in Minneapolis, members of the Minnesota Newspaper and Communications Guild welcomed them with a party, including a cake with the logo of our mutual parent union, The Newspaper Guild, on it. We’ve got a few photos from the shindig.

Steve Karnowski, chair of the News Media Guild’s Representative Assembly, Associated Press staffer Patrick Condon and Tony Kennedy, reporter for the Star Tribune, get ready to cut the cake at a party welcoming AP staffers to the Star Tribune building.
