The News Media Guild is governed by the Constitution of our parent union, The Newspaper Guild, its policies as adopted in the International Convention, and the News Media Guild by-laws defined here.
These by-laws are our "constitution." They lay out the structure of the Local, how its officers are elected and the duties they perform, how the budget is set, how contracts are bargained and enforced, and how dues are collected.
